"Karma Change Disabled for this User" - Jona Lendering - 07-15-2009

Hey, that's not fair: I want to give karma points to someone who gave a truly excellent reply to a question, but I get the message "Karma Change Disabled for this User". What does this mean?

That's because Jasper is making the Karma system more fair. See link from old RAT.

Actually, that happens when a user turns their own karma capabilities off. I'd like to check though, Jona, can you please PM me?

Interesting. I haven't been able to award karma points for a few days now. I assumed the system had been turned off. But maybe it's something I've done?

No, the system has been upgraded and now has a new and interesting bug.

Like you, Jona, I wanted to reward the bearer of interesting information, so I made a mental note. (Or I thought I had. ) I should have written it down!

I check regularly, but this is free software...
