Javelin tips - M. Demetrius - 06-23-2009 Does anyone have a clear picture, hopefully with some dimensions of what a peltast would have thrown? A javelin tip? I've found that the shaft can be anywhere from 3 feet to 5 feet long, which gives a pretty good range of choices...but I don't find any pictures of the points other than in modern artwork, and game designers sketches.
