Minerva Magazine - Musivarius - 04-06-2009

3 good articles in this months Minerva Magazine (March/April) that are worth a look at;

'The Ancient Spice Trade', written by the author of Indo-Roman Trade; Pots to Pepper and it looks at the Roman finds around the Indian Ocean.

'Varus and the Teutoburg Forest', not sure if there's anything new in this one.

'Roman Engineering Par Excellence in Constantinople' great piece on the water supply to Constantinople (also tells us that Rome's aquaducts were collectively 502km in length supplying 1,127,220,000 litres every 24 hours!)
