Which LOTR species and or race or character are you? - Steakslim - 12-18-2008

I'm an Elve Smile (The ones with broze segs) Not the ones that got their rear kicked by a bunch of overgrown orcs

I believe it is spelled "elf"...elves is plural.

The Fighting Uruk-Hai!!

Actually, orcs, goblins, and uruks are all the same thing, just different words or languages. Hobbits tend to say "goblin", while Big People usually say "orc" (from the elvish "orch", plural "yrch"). "Uruk" is in the Black Speech, and tends to get used for Sauron's "Black Uruks" which he introduced about 500 years before the War of the Ring, as I recall. They were larger than usual, but probably just bred up from regular orcs as one would do to get larger cattle, etc. "Uruk-hai" strictly speaking just means "orc-folk", but is used for Saruman's big man-orc hybrids. Saruman's resources were not as unlimited as Sauron's, so his breeding program gave him more options to specialize his force.

Grunt snort (something orcish),

Matthew/Ugluk

PS: As the orcs say at Christmas, No Elves, No Elves!

Well...

Maybe I would be elf, or man... Or Hobbit.

Elf for the eastetic of the warefare... Armors are so impressives and weapons are so tuned ! In Lee's work, in Howe's work or in the Peter Jackson's movie, they did a wonderfull work, with good details (rings, hooks, etc... Armors are weared with accessories !) and a theme reminding me ancient world.

Man for the epic dimention of their kind and the fact they represent future and beggining of a new History.

Hobbit, just because we all need sometimes to stay away from trouble and work the land with love.

If I could be something, I´d like to be the Princeps of an Imperial Warlord Titan. That´s not lotr, though.

That´d be really fun, I guess. Wink

If we´d put that into lotr it probably were the Balrog, then...

Must be a cartographers error, Mordor is just north of Greece. But I suppose it explains why they always said the northern tribes were barbarrians and demons Tongue lol:
