learning latin - Jeroen Pelgrom - 05-12-2003

Salve,

Does anybody know a good way to learn latin? I live in the Netherlands and have a full day-time job. I personally was thinking of the LOI latin course. Does anybody know if this course is any good or are there other ways to learn the language. My goal is to have a better understanding about the language. I knowledge i have today is from Asterix/ books about Rome and guessing.
Doing an LOI course is one way to learn Latin. You could also see if it's possible to do distance learning at your nearest University.
Or just walk into Donners' and look for self study books.
Greets
