Youth of C. Iulius Caesar Octavianus (Augustus) - Titvs Statilivs Castvs - 07-08-2008
I'm planning to write a story with Octavian as my main character, following him in his life, contacts with Caesar, political career, civil wars and so on, till about 27BC, when he gets the title Augustus. I've got nothing to do this holidays, so why not?
But ofcourse, I have to start when he was young, and even in the beginning of my story I already have a problem. After the death of his father in 59BC, he went living:
a) with his grandmother, in Velitrae
b) with Lucius Marcius Philippus, whom his mother married, in Rome
I have sources saying a, some saying b. Do you know what is right? This is essential for the next part of my story.
Any other suggestions that might help me are welcome too of course!
