Christopher Webber - Pericles of Rhodes - 01-02-2008

I don't suppose anyone is in contact with Christopher Webber (author of The Thracians 700BC-AD46)?

I've tried to send him a PM and email him via the email address on his website but neither has worked. I also tried to email him through Osprey publishing but, again, no reply.

It is regarding the topic I started on 5th C BC Greek greaves http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/viewtopic.php?t=19960 .

In my first post I mentioned that, in an excerpt from his Thracians book, he refers to many examples of alternative attachments for greaves. This is very interesting to me and would appreciate any more information on these. The members of the forum have been very helpful but seem to have no more knowledge on the greaves he describes.

If people prefer to contact me via PM please do! Big Grin

Thanks everyone! Happy New Year! Big Grin

Re: Christopher Webber - Nicholas Gaukroger - 01-04-2008

he recently posted a question on the Field of Glory forum - http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4796 - so if you go there you may be able to get in touch in some way, PM or some such.
