Crests are alive and well - Tarbicus - 08-06-2007 Just saw amazing footage of the nightly closing of the India-Pakistan border, involving a ceremony by each country's border guards. The uniforms are actually the day-to-day dress, including the huge crests on their hats. The ceremony attracts large crowds who encourage the guards with cheering and chants. Looks like a lot of fun.
