It does look rather like him....but also reminds me of some depictions of Mithras...without the Phrygian hat...
I think I have seen Alexander in those style of boots before..... but where :roll:

I belive it is an evolution of Triptolemos who was taught by godess DIMITRA the secrets of Agriculture. Triptolemos appears in Classical art as the statue in thr first picture.
