Hi Robert,

firstly I wanted to overwrite the topic with 'Robert alert', but wasn't bold enough to do so, but I knew You would find it out.

Btw, nice mini soldiers, a cheap solution to construct larger armies.

Just think: A mere 1,000 or so boxes, and you can make a fully manned diorama of the Battle of Strasbourg! Confusedhock:
Hello,
my name is Igor,
I am an artist.....
and .......this is my picture,
sorry I am not so good at English,
and cannot understand perfectly your phrases......

So I am at your service.....
GREAT PICTURE Igor. I like it very much! Big Grin

I can even identify several personal items and pictures which you used as examples...
Thanks a lot,
several photos from different sites inspired me to creat this paintings,
the theme became more interesting because of zeal of the people for artist,
so I tried t make characters known.
I found another one:

Me and Alain! Big Grin But also clearly influences from Comitatus' Hadrian's Wall Walk.

This news from the 1/72 Plastic Soldier Review of a new MiniArts set:

The year of the Romans marches on

Once more we have good news for all those with an interest in the long history of Rome, as MiniArt have confirmed their set of late Roman cavalry is being released this month. The set is dated for the fourth and fifth century, which is a period fast gaining a more respectable representation in the hobby. The box claims 48 figures, but we might suppose that 'figures' includes horses too.

This looks like a banner year for you fans of Late Roman.

As for those who still favor "Imperial Rome"...

New sets have been released by the Russian company Zvezda, and although there are no reviews yet, if their Romans are anything like their other figures (their Samurai are Excellent) then we are in for some great new Legionaries.
