Oh, that's great!!! Confusedhock:
Stunning! When can I buy the poster?!
Hi Caius here Thats a great looking pic Keep up the good work Cheers Caius/Thomas R
You give a great sense of the diversity of armour used by such phalangites (I recognize several of the helmets as existing examples!). It's a shame you didn't give them different coloured tunics, though Big Grin . Great work.
Thanks to all..!

Ruben,
What other colors..? Purple..?

Thanks for the comments...

The main ones were off white, red, and pink, but blues, yellows, and greens can also be seen on some sources showing colours for soldiers shortly after Alexander's death. Purple would appear as well, but rarely.
Great work Johnny.

Units like hypaspists or argiraspides or later Bythinian guards would probably be uniformed, if we assume that they were issued provided for by the state. Other men, even if they tried red they would have different shades.

Chances are that Alexnader's troops after Issos would wear exotic asiatic chitons.

I like tha fact that you represented troops with "older" helemt types as it was possible.

Kind regards
Johnny they just keep getting better. Great work
you are the best Big Grin i am happy for today

Johnny, that's the best I've seen! You've overcome yourself!!

Laus for you

Later Bithynian guards? Bithynian guards of whom?

Even if they were issued clothing by the state, I highly doubt they would have showed much uniformity.

Do you mean long-sleeved tunics? And you say this based on what, exactly?
Fantastic......you feel like you are there on the battlefield with them... Big Grin
I like the touches such as the 'late' Sarissa being lowered...!
