I don't know if this is available outside of the UK: Soreen malt loaf (yum yum).

Slice a piece lengthwise, and toast it. Spread butter on top, and enjoy one of the most scrumptious foodstuffs ever created by man, but this time taken to a new height of delicious tastebud pleasure.

I know, my face scrunched up in disgust when it was told to me by a couple of mates :? D
You Philistine, Tarbicus! Toast it? Toast you more like. Just spread with real butter (no low-fat alternatives are acceptable) and enjoy.

Low fat, high carbohydrate - perfect for walking and camping.

But not toasted. Really, what is the world coming to?!
Yes! Do it! You'll never regret it! My own parents had the same reaction, as did I, but they tried it and phoned me especially to tell me how much they loved it. Dip your toes in the waters of culinary ecstasy Kate! Big Grin

I'm not asking you to curry it.......

... hold on, hmmmm......
SOREEN?

As in So(ylent g)REEN?

Jum indeed
No dead people in Soreen, but if there were I really wouldn't care, especially if I cremated them as well.

Oh, I was in London just few days ago, If I knew that I'd have bought one to try... Sad

One from Italy: "Torrone di Tonara" (only the original) if you find itin UK, try it, I bet you cannot stop to eat it!

BTW:

E282 seems innocuous
E150 effects are still on study (about caramel)
E471 is fat (animal or vegetal)

Valete,
Anyway, I hope that they don't have their factory at Mulberry...

Vale,

This looks like nougat :?:
Yes, soft nougat! Just, I never ate a nougat/torrone good like that one from Sardinia (by Tora factory)..., maybe the special honey, or their sweet walnuts... Tongue
European sweets are soooo much better than the artificial crap we get here in the US.

I am particularly weak for Nuessgipfel in Switzerland!
