When the beer bottles are flying at the drummer how can you blame him for a adding a little protection to his head!
Wow - why the helmet? Is the band also wearing one?
Well, looks like he switches between his Roman helmet, a Russian (?) fur cap and and a contemporary military helmet (at least). Wouldn't be surprised to learn he has a few more in the collection!
Great pictures!!! I didn't realize the state of music had gotten that dangerous. Sorta gives a new meaning to heavy METAL.
Nice drum kit,too.
Hey!
Probably with the Kalkriese masked helmet you'll have more protection!
And nobody knows you!
Nice video, Comerus. You can speak with Faventianus and put in it some real Faventianus music. (YES. IT'S HEAVY METAL; OOOOHHH YEAHHH)
SEX, RE-ENACMENT AND ROCK'N ROLL!!!

Ivan has contracted Mad Cow Disease!!!
Or is it... THE ATTACK OF THE KILLER COW!
Ivan there is no evidence Roman Standard bearers wore cow skins on their heads!!!
It does remind me however of a children's Roman fancy dress competition I had to help judge once. We gave the prize to a lad who came as a standard bearer with wool mail shirt and a skinned teddy bear over his plastic helmet
Graham.
