Salvete omnes,

It's now time to vote for the latest installment of the Vexillvm Award- it is to recognize the person who does LOTS of research, professionally or in an amateur capacity that contributes to the common knowledge of us all- either by publication or sharing online or personally. Consistency and depth are things to consider- has a person shared what he/ she has learned for a long time and with anyone who asks? Has he/she made a unique contribution to a subject by either assembling information, or by experimenting, interpreting, etc. that is useful to anyone also interested in the subject(s)? It's for contributions that are either widely varied, or applicable to the majority.

The poll will be open for 7 days, so vote now!
No offense to those that voted for me, but Matt deserves this.

Travis

Well done Matt!
Well, I must say I learned a lot from Travis' postings in the "Roma Erotica" thread... Confusedhock:

Congratulations, Matt! Well deserved.
Darn. Tried to post this earlier and it didn't work.

Congrats indeed! Well-earned.

Well I don't want to know if there's a special award for that!

Purely a *ahem* professional interest I assure you.

Travis
Congratulations Matt! I can only echo the others in saying "well deserved!"

(you would have gotten my vote as well, if I hadn't been travelling w/o internet access for the last 2.5 weeks)
Congratulations, Matt!

Let your superior knowledge of roman crafts blossom in my two dollars pugio! (remeber, we have a cunning plan  ...)
Congratulations Matt.

All were worthy nominees -- you should feel justly proud of these accolades from your fellow legionaries.

Smile
