This is a 3d-model I made after a plan that Jasper was so kind to send me and the models from the Naval Museum in Mainz:
www2.rgzm.de/navis/Themes...Border.htm (that’s why it has this specific form at the bow). The form of the ship is based on biremes you can see on the Traian’s column in Rome and depictions on coins. The ship has 74 rowers, a few soldiers and some sailors. I will maybe add a smaller sail (Artemon) to the bigger one, too.<br>

no, I'm much to slow at 3d-works and there are many things I still don't really know how to handle (IK-Animation, for example, though I made at leastthe rowers do their job). But I was somehow obsessed with these ships (the eye makes look a bit like a creature that I had to do this.<br>
