Wow, well, it may be tight since I might be on a "business trip" to Vilseck, Germany until the 16th, but I'll do my best to fly in on Friday night. I think we should stay a couple of days longer to see the sights (BM, London Museum) and visit some of the UCL/IA faculty to scout for JAMS advisory board members.
Cheers,
Well, I'm kinda not looking forward to staying much longer in London until prices/Euro-Pound rate goes down. It's bloody expensive and I've got more things to spend my money on!
Greets
So who's coming? We might as well try and plan/book early. Might save us some money here!
Greets
I can contact the Ruskin Hotel, which is right across the street from the British Museum (stayed there before, decent little place, fairly affordable as London accomodations go) and get us a block of rooms (3? 4?) for May.

I can do as I did last time and take a flight from Frankfurt to Stanstead, then ride the Stanstead Express into London. A bit time consuming but considerably cheaper than Heathrow.
Hmmm, I'll first have a look at a travel package train/hotel. I don't mind being slightly out of city-center and pay a bit less than Gpb 47/night.
Greets
How right you are, Jasper!
Maybe Luca wants to come again with his motorcaravan? E EM
I would like to come with you, but I have already planned a one-week trip in Albania to visit people there (sometimes I act also as missionary).
Of course I will take a look for roman ruins or something like that, do you have an idea about some remainings in the north of Albania near to Kosovo?

I'll have to check with work, but if I can get the friday off I'll be up for that

[unless a very particular show is on the same weekend!]

I will be going to this [not sure about the friday though]

if I can get an answer from the uni....I reckon must be half term or something

I should be able to make this after all, after some doubts. Although I will be arriving very late that night. Probably to stay in the Arran Hotel on Gower Street in Bloomsbury. Only 45 pounds a night.
Cheers
sent my cheque off a couple of weeks ago..........no reply yet

Well, I registered in November or December and haven't heard from them. As it's only a small conference (and it's historians & classicists organising) there may not be an extensive postal exchange!
Greets

Jasper

I am presuming I can register upon arrival.

Where is everyone else staying? And where shall we link up on Saturday morning?

Cheers
The Dutch group is staying at the Regent Palace, which is not so classy as it sounds, near Picadilly.
Greets
