Small New Scientist article about turtles in the sky, and how they influenced the Roman army's decisions in making camp:

Never heard that one before! Never pitch camp at the bottom of a hill, certainly - Pseudo-Hyginus 57, and probably the Scouting Association. Anyone got a ref for New Scientist's turtles? (and shame on NS for failing to provide references!!)
