Interesting indeed! Could it be the depiction of some Iliad's passage?

Interesting...though from the depictions on how the armour finishes at the belly, it seems they are all depicted in muscled armour.
Is it just me or are the two soldiers wearing greaves?
Greaves are definitely there- here is a picture of the whole stone.
