Not having seen any publicity for this I thought, despite the dodgy title, a programme about modern people living as gladiators might be watchable. After about a minute I ran screaming from the room.

I read it.  And there is only one appropriate response:


"Live and fight like gladiators did 2000 years ago"?  By having them drag miniature chariots and their girlfriends catfight over clothes?  They might as well put "We think the general public doesn't have two brain cells to rub together" in the opening credits.
