Anyone have any information on hospital arrangements on the march or at marching camps? Any suggestion anywhere on field dressing stations?....I know about the capsarii and the picture on Trajan's Column.
Thanks
Hello

I have found that The Treatment of War Wounds in Graeco-Roman Antiquity by Chrsitine F Salazar is a great book on the subject.

Sorry I can't say more on it at the moment I am at work, I will try and find some quotes from it for you on the subject, but you can order the book here ... www.oxbowbooks.com/bookin...?&ID=24414

Hope this helps in some way.
