Ave Civitas,

I am looking for a translation (into English, of course) of the writing of Galen, or perhaps a book that will explain how Galen treated ailments and injuries.

I have "The Healing Hand" that has a section on Galen, but are there other works out there?

As always, thanks in advance and for your help.

Tom
This is public domain in Australia. From the University of Adelaide.     Huh https://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/g/galen/g15nf/index.html

Thank you very much.
That is probably not what you are looking for. The only sort of consummate translation of Galenus´work is from Greek to LATIN. And there is a lot in French.

Here is a list of all online versions:

Here is a probably complete bibliography:

Hello,

There's an online translation of On Natural Faculties here: http://classics.mit.edu/Galen/natfac.html

There's also an epitome, rather than a translation, of all the works of Hippocrates and Galen here: http://oll.libertyfund.org/titles/1988. This is handy for describing in detail what they say, which keeps it briefer than a full translation.

This handy website has links to translations of all sorts of stuff, including Galen: http://www.attalus.org/info/sources.html

Hope that helps   Big Grin

Thank you guys very much.
