Salve all,

I have a coolus helmet which is bare and something akin too this one http://i63.servimg.com/u/f63/13/03/82/14/coolus10.jpg . I was wondering if people have advice/experience with adding hooks and crest mounts too these helmets, did anyone know a supplier of these hooks and attachment method? would they only have been welded on or would riveted hooks be appropriate?

Adrian Wink from armamentaria have in the past a kit of hooks to improve the gallic series of deepeeka. I haven't found it in his web, but you can ask him at [email protected]. There is no problem to atach the hooks directly with rivets, as was the method romans use to do.
