I would like to share with the community a pair of greaves I have just finished. They are based on 4thC BC Greek artifacts, but are made from commercial bronze as an accessible alternative to a true tin bronze. I recreated the form, musculature and moulded edge of the originals, but made the greaves specifically to fit casts of my customer's legs. I hope you like them!

Absolutely Beautiful! Jeffrey!!!
Wonderful greaves indeed, Jeffrey!
Great work as usual!
Really beautiful!
Stunning, one of the best examples of reconstructed greaves that I've seen! :-)
Beautiful work!
Thank you all for your compliments! Making fully-enclosed greaves is a satisfying challenge, and I am glad you like the results. While researching this pair, I became interested in several other types from different contexts that I hope I will get a chance to recreate at some point.
