I'm start working on preparing of third centuries belt model from article “VTERE FELIX – POJASNA GARNITURA IZ Varaždinske TOPLICA”. From MILJENKA GALIC and
IVAN RADMAN .
Now in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, Croatia .

It is my desire In connection with our club third century preparations.
I preparing our club for quality reproduction of the Battle of Abrittus (now Razgrad in Bulgaria), also known as the Battle of Forum Terebronii was held in 251 between the Roman legions and Goths with their king Kniva.

I get familiarize myself with the contents of the article and I want to say that this is a wonderful work !
Unfortunately I could not find the dimensions of the individual part of the belt!

I would like to ask you guys for further information.
Can anyone please provide me with the actual size of the buckle and letters!
For me it is important to be able to recreate correctly this model.

Hi there,

I don't know the height of the ones you specifically refer to, but other examples are listed at 29-30mm in height. You should be able to extrapolate the dimensions of the rest of the pieces from that.
