Competition details for the Milecastle Haiku (#mchaikucompetition) will be announced from 1500 UTC/GMT (20120821) (1600 BST) on my Twitter feed. Means you've got to read some poetry but, hey, I had to suffer writing it so I don't see why you shouldn't suffer equally reading it (no pain, no gain)! At least it's not Vogon poetry...
