It is beautiful. The eagle would suggest Syria, but that's just a guess.

Yes, there are many representations of eagles, facing the spectator, in Greater Syria. Palmyra, Edessa, Jerash, they appear to be everywhere.
Hint: It is now stored less than 120 km from Augsburg.
Stored in the Glyptothek in Munich, then? Not that I've any clue from where it is. Never been to the Glyptothek either.

Solution: The relief is from the fifth century, it was found in Deir Abu Hennis in Egypt, and it is in the Egyptian Museum in Munich.

Both correct. Let me rephrase: What is the underwater structure we see in this pic, and where is it? ^^

It's either a Roman Road or Port, maybe a lauching ramp for ships.
