Amongst the great resources that are there are a series of original texts translated into English. These can be found here: www.personal.kent.edu/~bkharvey/roman/texts/texts.htm<br>

I have been through them briefly and (with permission) stuck the gladiatorial ones on the Ludus website here: www.ludus.org.uk/r/essays.html<br>
