if You don't know what to do tonight and are able to receive German/French sender ARTE, I recommend to have a look on 'Zeugma, an antique city sinks' (Arte TV 20.40):<br>

It shows the sinking of old legionaries' city Zeugma in the floods of a new artificial lake errected by the Turkish state but also the rescue work of the archaeologists advanced in large hurry and the uncovering of some of the most beautiful soil mosaics.<br>

For non-German readers, the documentary title means "an ancient city vanishes". <p></p><i></i>

the same do I, I saw it some years ago first time and had recorded it on video tape; there is always need for some masochism to watch this documentation ...<br>
But the film itself is a very informative one and that compensates the pain (a little).<br>
