Another lover of Roman history who would be a newbie to reenactment, and would, at the very least, like to see what it's all about. Currently living in GA, but will probably be moving to TX within the year.

You could jump in with both feet and attend the Lafe Ar event in March ad43.org. Loaner gear would be available so you could get away with tunic shoes bowl and spoon.
