I'm working on a pebble mosaic floor for the Bedford festival and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction where best to look for some information.

1. I want to know if we have any idea how high status house or even palaces may have had their walls decoarated/painted? It needs to be anywhere between 5th BC - 3rd BC.

2. Also information on flooring for temples and again wall decoration (if any).

Thanks
Thanks, there are a couple of the pebble mosaics I've not seen before so I've noted them.

I'm hoping to get a set of walls around the mosaic when it's done so I'm just trying to figure out how they might appear.
If you want an exmaple of what a 5th century greek wall would look (exterior)like then
try images from "Treasures" of Sifnians and Athenians at Delphoi or even ruins of Gortyna in Crete. Inside they would be plastered and wall-painted

Kind regards
