There´s a quite nice and small event in Oerlinghausen, Germany. Some 40 - 50 Reenactors will show a bit of the times between 300 to 600.

There is still some place, if someone is interested. Accomodation in contemporary houses, food & Beverages for free + a little allowance.

For further information just mail to: info(at)contubernium(dot)de

Let´s celebrate the rotten empire with Honorius´ Basterds ...Wink

I hope this goes really well for you all. Apologies again to Gawan and the rest of you that we can't make it this year.
Well Matt, will be cosy ... Wink

But if it´s somehow a success, I´m sure that it will become a yearly or bi-yearly institution, so let´s see. Next time we hope to improve the time line and keep you informed.

Anyhow we´ll raise a Wurstwasser toast to you ...Big Grin

Bernwart, of what material is your cap made? I like the look of it.
Cap? Which cap? That´s my hair ... Confusedhock:

Wink Well, it´s made of persian lamb, but for support of the shape I sewed an additional leather band to the inside
Wow! very cool equipment!
Really nice! Good pictures! You look great.
Thanks, Guys ... but there´s still a lot to do.
Thanks for the compliment.

Yes that was really a nice little event.
We had a lot of fun and a great interesiertes audience. That small museum area with the buildings is a wonderful playground and location for us.
I hope we can repeat this in 2013 but with more late Romans. :-D
