i also wanted to subscribe to that magazine. Also curious what other persons think of it. <p></p><i></i>

It's a popular magazine so expect some glamorization and hyperbole in the writing, but the artwork is always superb (they normally use contemporary artists or classic paintings). I'd say about 25% of the yearly content is ancient mil hist; the rest is global, mostly western civ mil hist.<br>
