Hi all,
Is anyone aware of any primary evidence that the Signaculum contained the imagines of the emperor? A number of secondary sources claim this (Franz Dolger; J.Hegeland) without providing any primary evidence to back their claims up. Is anyone aware of a literary or archaeological source that would back this calim up?
