Some of LEG IX HSPA saw the Hollywood premiere Tuesday night, Nov 6

I think this film is going to make Galdiator look like a Hallowe'en costume party!
That is a neat web site. Is the film in English or Polish? When will it hit the theaters in USA.
Don't know. Might be on HBO after a brief run in theaters.

It was the most expensive film ever made in Poland.
Ciao
it does look, from the photos and shorts, that they did and are doing a good job.
I looked at some of the pics on the site . Civy ones are ok but the armour. Its straight out of the 1950 film out of masada!!

Hey, how come I didn't get invited to the banquet scenes? I don't remember any of our parties getting like this.

In the outtakes of Gladiator on the CD, they have some lion/Christian takes that are obviously dummies; I wonder how these lions seems to be really grabbing onto the stuntmen/women?
Aulus, Legio XX.

Yeah that would be the Praetorians - since they come across as Nero's SS - the tacky armour (all dark and nasty looking) plays to the Hollyweird stereotype.

The segmentata worn by the male lead (shown in the first ten minutes!) was by FAR, the best Roman armor I've ever seen depicted in a non-documentary flick.

... and it was nice that the actors at the premiere could tell the difference(s) between the Newstead and Corbridge types - THAT impressed me...
