I would love to have at least an option on my user control panel to list books and/or documentaries I own. I believe it would make sharing knowledge far easier. Maybe even a personal photo panel a la facebook too. That would make a digital armory easy for each member. I run into alot of dead ends with finding photos of historical pieces and things to work on.

Regarding the library option, may be Zotero could help you a little bit. There is a function to display your collection on Zotero server. You can provide a link leading to your collection in your profile then.
