...I hope it's last Kalkriese replica of my work in this year
Magnificent! You are a true artist! Big Grin
Great work, Patryk!

Of course this isn't boring. It's yet another wonderful replica you made. And again a splendid job. Laudes! Keep up this great craftmanship!
Congratulations, you're a great artist
thank You guys for aprobation Big Grin

...the mask is sold ...however the transaction isn't complete yet Big Grin

...in fact I'm not an artist in this case Cry ...I made just the replica...true artist was guy who made oryginal Kalkriese mask
I disagree- sure the original maker was quite a master, but recreating a piece is rather harder than making one with nothing to compare it to  That is exceptional work- the best I've ever seen. The shape is bang on and I just love the 'realstic' finish- SO much more beautiful than the silly super-smooth surface of so many mediocre replicas...
Yes it is pretty perfect! Just hope the mail strike will not affect its delivery too much! :|
I wonder if the silver sheet covering was decorated in some fashion, or just left smooth, reflecting the ironmask within?
thank You guys for note Big Grin

I think silver covering it was some fashion ...and maybe even some kind of information : "I'm belong to some very importand person " Big Grin ...it's silver sheet not silvered bronze

...and for sure it was very good anty-rust way Big Grin
Recieved this and am very happy with the mask.
It is made as near a possible to the original dimension wise, so is not functional for me,
but I will mount this on a placque, and display it on the wall!
It looks just like the original, to me, I wont bother posting pictures again, as Patryk
has posted better quality photo than I would manage I think!
Definately makes me want one mounted on a helmet though! 8)

Can't I just hit metal with it? why yes, probably make some shapes too.....hey, why didn't I think of that..... :?:
Hmmm, now lets see, if I rub the metal fast enough with the shaft of the hammer, that should heat it up enough to
beat it into shape with the blow torch?
Now, which end of the torch do I hit it with again....? :?
