How reliable is story about Xantippus s brilliant generalship? Or, may be, his role in victory over Regulus and changes in Carthaginian tactics is exaggerated by sources. I think that there is some similarity between Xantippus s tactics in 256 and Hannibal s tactics in Cannae. What do the other participants of forum think?
