And I paid $27 for my copy, but then I bought it on Feb. 14, 1976 in New York City (at The Soldier Shop on Madison Avenue). That was an expensive book in 1976.<br>

My son borrowed the book from his university and although I find many of the pictures and drawings worth scanning, I don't believe the book to be worth 300 dollars. <p></p><i></i>
I guess its the rarity value.<br>
But the photographic plates are priceless. <p></p><i></i>
