In the British Museum today, so some pictures. This is a first century Celtic sword found in Stanwick, Yorkshire. The scabbard is of ash, and when found it still had the blade in the scabbard.

Scaled drawings, photo's and descriptions of, I think, every iron age sword found in Britain.

Not cheap but recommended.
