I had a surprise today when I was watching ... :oops: erm I mean my baby son was watching CBeebies this morning.
It showed Barnaby the Bear talking to a Centurion at a reenactment event at Chester, and they were discussing chariot racing, and the old harbour. It showed footage of reenacters and there was a also a shot showing the RMRS' equipment too.
Who was that centurion ? Was anyone on here a CBeebie's star ?

Actually, it was a good informative episode and it's nice to see something like that educating youngsters about their history.

That woul be Ocratius Maximus Gittus, otherwise known as Paul Harston of Roman Tours Ltd (Event Organiser). I think I'm in there cheering on the charioteers. As well as RMRS you may see LEG VIII AVG MGV, LEG VII AVG, Vicus, and Brittannia.
