Looking good!! I like the subtler blue of your tunic as well. Nice kit.
Thanks Tarb! Tunic material from Peronis! Woad dyed!
Nice sword, and a very nice overall impression.
Nice indeed! Belt looks shcnazzy too!
Is that one of Julia's (Venetian Cat) disk-canteens?
Hey, GJC! You wear a haircut just like mine! Nice!
Thanks guys.
The scabbard is definately a great piece!
The belt is one of Jorges from Armillum, I like it too!
The Canteen is definately a life saver, and by Venitian Kat!
The hair-cut is by yours truely....but is a bit long in the pic Dave!
Hey, I have to say " you look marvelous" . I hope you don't mind but I copied your picture so I could show my guys what to look like.
Bryan
Thanks Bryan,
Thats a great compliment, I will pass the congrats on to the makers of the kit!
oops:
No problem with showing it to your guys! I hope anyway! Its on the public part of our website so should be ok!
Byron,
Where did you get the tunic from? I like the wool. It looks like it's a corse weave. Is it? You are welcome you do look great.
Bryan
It was some material Peronis had a couple of years ago. I am not sure where he sourced it from though.
It is quite a thick material, fairly coarse weave.
I quite like it too.
Could you see if it is still available? I would like to get some.
Bryan
Well, I think it was some he had laying around at the time.
I hate to dampen you hopes, but then again, he may still have the suppliers details. I will find out for you!
Byron,
Question. The copper band on your wrist in the picture is this historically correct? Or is it just something you like?
The reason I ask is I have about 7-8 feet of copper wire that looks about the same diameter. So I was thinking of what to do with it and the band looks like something I could make.
Bryan
Well, actually, it is one of those copper/magnetic arthritis bands....  but it's design I figured was simple enough to pass for an ancient style....
