Can someone tell me what this helmet originally is made of??

For some reason it isn't always mentioned in the Roman helmet database...
I'd guess a cupric alloy....

I'd vote for cupric, though, just based on the greenish tint. Honestly, it's hard to tell from a photo without some kind of a color reference, like a white card.
It's a copy, made by electrotyping the original. The material and color probably are not representative.
the original appears to be in the
Museum zu Allerheiligen in Schaffhausen.
So if somebody is located in Switzerland or the Southwest of Germany that person may be able to provide the information requested (and potentially photos for the helmet database)
Argh, I had to know this last week, when I was in Schaffhausen. But then I wasn't in the museum, unfortunately.

Well, now i have some shrooms sourced, I am looking to try a helmet project....this one looks to be of a simple enough shape for a first attempt!
And if it turns out right, a beaute of a helmet!!

I might try making one if I had the materials, but, unfortunately, I don't. *sigh*
I have had contact by e-mail with Werner Rutishauser from the MUSEUM ZU ALLERHEILIGEN. And the original is Cupric also, to be precise: 76.8% copper, 16.7% Sink, 2% led and less then 2% nickel...
He even send me a word doc, with a little more information and a photo, which I am allowed to share here on this forum...
Only the dating is a bit funny if I am translating and understanding the German way of dating correctly,
