Yesterday one of my students, Peter Tóth and I were visiting Stafan Jaroschinki to make some Hallstatt-items for the Journées Gallo-Romaines in Lyon this year, an Event we are all looking very much forward to.

We made a set of Jewelry for a Hallstatt HaD2/D3 Woman after findings from the Heuneburg.
Stefan made two bracelets and a necklace, as well as two fibulae, I made the belt plate, but couldn´t finish the side strengtheners in time, so have to make them next week. Smile
Here the full set, and a close up of one of the Fußzierfibeln:

We also made a belt clasp for Peter, and a half finished Draco-fibula which I also have to finish next week:

I also made this belt plate for my own impression, just needs some polishing and the leather strap. All this, three guys in six hours. Smile )

Very nice, Christian! Not quite my time and style, but very nice :-) )
It's damned fun sometimes making this stuff eh Christian Wink
Yup. Smile
And working together is so much more fun than sitting alone in a crammed little workshop. Smile
One reason I got into this, and still, yet to do anything!

All this stuff is very nice Christian....when are you coming to Aberdeen?
very nice work. I imagine you had much fun doing this together...
Wow fantastic stuff!

Yeah, I always wish I had some mates to work with- sadly I'm a shop of one... so I just sit here and boisterously belt out 80s hits to keep myself company LOL
