Here's a tip..

Grind out a dished recess into the top of a 6" tempered nail with your Dremel. This makes for a great rivet set for the brass pin rivets. You WILL need a vice though. :wink:

You may end up ruining the cups otherwise.
What about a recessed punch?

Which found pugio has tinning anywhere on it?
Didn't the Leeuwen dagger have silver or tin coating on the grip?
