Just wanted to point out that a fairly cheap copy can be found with this bookseller:

http://www.biblio.com/books/77250289.html

From www.addall.com I reckon that they have more than one, starting from 75 pounds.

Cheers,

Martijn
Just bought their second copy for 85 pounds. Many thanks. I've been looking for a copy at a decent price for years.
I just missed both, obviously..... Cry
Oh, byron, that's sad. But now I've bought something you don't have Big Grin
On abebooks you can still find 2 copies by this bookseller (one for 83 pounds and one for 94 pounds). I do not know though if these are the same as those already sold only priced differently on this website.

Just received my copy. Thanks again for the link, Martijn.
You are both welcome; enjoy the read.

Martijn

I'm not happy with this at all... I bought my copy in 1994 for £7 ... it was then worth £300+ ..... now its down to £75

Still now that the glut is over i will be rich again
....I remember gulping at the expense, but going ahead and buying it anyway when it was first published back in 1975........for the princely sum of £11.95 !!

I wuz 'robbed' because the "official" price was £9.95, but I cannot say I ever regretted it......it has given me many hours of pleasure and reference material over the years........

Paul, if you're willing to make a hundred percent profit, I'll give you £24 for it...

That's a very kind and generous offer, Jim! Smile

Alas, I wouldn't want to take advantage of a fellow RAT member, for my copy is very dog-eared from considerable use down the years, and has dozens of pencilled notes on every page ( in short, heavily 'vandalised'! Confusedhock: ), not to mention the tatty cover, held together with sellotape now brown with age.......in short, a long way from Pristine.......you would get far better value for money from a 'new' copy from a bookseller!

Then there is the sentimental value, that would not let me part with it anyway....... Cry
