Rings a bell! We had one out at the rig I work on a month or so ago!
No one knew what it was until a report appeared a week or so later!

Yeah, I remember that one. It felt and sounded like there was an intruder in the house (I live in an old terrace); fortunately I realised what it was straight away; apparently lots of people called the police thinking they were being burgled!
They've had a several small earthquakes in Manchester this month, including a 2.2 earlier this week (and for those of you who live in places that get 'real' earthquakes, that's newsworthy for here!!!).

2.2 sounds good to me.
You are welcome to come and enjoy one of our 7 pointers anytime you like. hock: :? D
It has been awfully quiet since the Northridge quake -- no doubt we are due for another Big One sooner than any of us would like.
Ah Mother Nature -- She always has the final word.
