Not sure whether this has been posted here before, but I have shamelessly cribbed it from the rather good Geschichtsforum (time to brush up your German, although you could BabelFish selected bits of it if a topic takes your fancy):<br>

Be warned though - this is the 1767 Clarke translation (subsequently 'edited' and published in America during the 1940s) which is wildly inaccurate in some places. Still, it's better than nothing. That reminds me...<br>
