I have a reproduction of the type, a Deepeeka one from Albion Armorers, and managed to get one that fits well and looks great on!!<br>

Yes- many thanks- it is in amazing condition. Is that a carrying handle on the neck guard? And does the book say where it is displayed at all? It would be great to see it directly!<br>
Btw, I wonder whether the material (orichalcum/ close to brass) was chosen by Legio II Adiutrix (a legion recruited from the fleet) because it would not corrode like iron or bronze- which would be a real problem on board ship?<br>
