Here is my friends early German impression from a small event we went to this weekend. It needs some refining such as a proper belt, and a belt knife. He usually wears the Seubian knot, but didnt get around to doing it this time.

I have some interesting info on early Batavian belt hooks Paul. I'll email it to you. I've commissioned Nodge to reconstruct some for me. I'm going to see him at the weekend to OK the master prior to casting. I'll take some pics for you.
