Do you have any pics on how to draw your gladius from the scabbard..?

Be careful with that website. The description of drawing the gladius is fine but the 'information' on pugiones on the same site is the worst sort of tripe you can find on the internet. I used their feedback link to give them some accurate information on the subject but two and a half years later it still says (amongst other rubbish) that a pugio was used to peel fruit!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

I KNEW I read that somewhere way back- that the pugio was not so much a weapon as a tool- when I first became interested in this subject and this was one of the first websites I visited then :lol: Yeah, a bit silly for sure... like saying the pilum's purpose was to de-shield an enemy :lol:
